Melagrana, arancia, rapa e mela rossa

  2. Buono a sapersi.

  5. Dearest V.,
LOVE this rosso melagrana! Very healthy and all my favorite ingredients.
Italy has on my mind a lot as I had to peer over my Italian paper work from the time we lived and worked in el Veneto. Yes, we are Americans with also an Italian Codice Fiscale... Had to apply for merging that to my American and here the local office from the Social Security had never ever seen such forms. Let's hope it will yield me something, for all the work done... But nowadays it looks often like the wrong, undeserving people are receiving the free handouts; not the ones that worked hard and invested in the future by paying their dues.
Wishing you and your loved ones a happy weekend. And yes, we too enjoy living rural, quiet nature and so many advantages. Hate to drive to and from Atlanta Metro with its 6,000,000 population and traffic jam. Even if we need to do this every 3 weeks for stocking up on health food that is not yet available locally. Being diabetes type 2 I do live as much as I can without sugar. Only the Coconut Palm sugar and Agave Nectar I use, for its low glycemic index. Baking with that and using lots of almond flour (yes, my own version of Amaretti cookies...) keeps also my husband and friends very happy!
    Hugs,
    Mariette

Buon w.e. Paola
